ABOUT THE SCHOOL:
Certified Licensed home-based Montessori school located in the Cedar Mill area of northwest Portland. Traditional, three-year primary program is offered for children 2.5-6-years old. School was founded with the purpose to build a space for all students to grow, learn, and create while receiving individualized learning. Lead guide uses Montessori method to carry children through kindergarten year and help students develop academically and personally in preparation for first grade. Montessori environment provides children a special opportunity to develop leadership skills, compassion, and an attitude of service towards others. Daily activities include STEM lessons, creative activities, yoga, music, and outdoor gardening. Program takes place in a daylight basement school that leads out to a private backyard and fenced playground area. The school is a 12 month program which offers both full-time & part-time care.
